Jack Whalen is a dedicated Project Architect at Tevebaugh Architecture, where he leverages his extensive expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D visualization to drive innovative design solutions. Growing up in an urban coastal town, Jack developed a keen understanding of how architecture shapes communities, which fuels his passion for creating spaces that enhance the quality of life for their inhabitants. His role involves assisting the Project Manager in coordinating with various consultants, leading onsite meetings with general contractors, and effectively delegating tasks to the internal design team.
Jack is particularly proud of his contributions to the firm’s operational efficiency, having reformed and created new office standards for the Revit Template. This initiative included the development of title blocks, family components, and advanced documentation tools, as well as comprehensive user manuals that streamline the design process. His proficiency in software such as Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, and Lumion allows him to produce high-quality project documentation and compelling visualizations that communicate design intent clearly to clients and stakeholders.
In addition to his technical skills, Jack is committed to professional growth and community engagement, actively participating in the NCARB initiative to promote licensure and support emerging architects. His multifaceted skill set, combined with his dedication to fostering collaborative environments, positions him as a valuable asset to Tevebaugh Architecture and the broader architectural community. Jack’s journey reflects a blend of personal perseverance and professional ambition, making him a passionate advocate for the transformative power of architecture.
